Organizer Verification

Ticket Buddy reviews organizers before allowing events to go live on the platform. Verification may include identity, business, banking, venue, event and supporting-document checks.

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. Ticket Buddy may request additional information or documentation before approving an organizer or event.

I confirm that the information and documents provided are accurate and authorize Ticket Buddy to verify the information provided. I agree to the Ticket Buddy Organizer Terms and confirm that I am authorized to organize and sell tickets for this event.

Organizer responsibilities

  • Providing accurate organizer and event information.
  • Having the legal authority to organize and promote the event.
  • Securing the venue and applicable permissions, approvals, NOCs and licences.
  • Maintaining required arrangements for event operations, safety and security.
  • Honoring valid tickets sold through Ticket Buddy.
  • Informing Ticket Buddy promptly about cancellations, postponements, venue changes or material event changes.
  • Cooperating with customer refunds or other obligations where applicable.
  • Complying with the Organizer Agreement and applicable laws.

Safe & verified event listings

Ticket Buddy reviews organizers and events before approving ticket sales. Depending on the nature of the event, our verification process may include identity, business, bank account, venue, permission and supporting-document checks. Ticket Buddy may request additional documentation, suspend ticket sales, delay settlements, reject an event or take other appropriate measures where information cannot be verified or potential fraud, misrepresentation or other material risks are identified.

Payments & settlements

Ticket proceeds are not necessarily available for immediate settlement to an organizer. Ticket Buddy may retain or delay settlement amounts where reasonably required for event completion, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, suspected fraud, contractual obligations or other applicable risk-control requirements.

Event changes & cancellations

Organizers must immediately notify Ticket Buddy of any cancellation, postponement, venue change, date change or other material modification to an event. Ticket Buddy may suspend ticket sales while the change is reviewed.

Full terms, including our Force Majeure policy, are in the Organizer Terms.
